Why isn't my ad free?
Bargain Tuesday / Market Thursday ads are free if they meet a certain criteria. An ad will be free if;
- The ad is three (3) lines or less.
- The sale price (that's the price you're selling the item for) is less than a certain amount, this varies by publication;
- New Zealand Herald: $250
- Bay of Plenty Times: $250
- Hawkes Bay Today: $500
- Northern Advocate: $150
- Rotorua Daily Post: $250
- Wanganui Chronicle: $250
- The ad is booked using our basic liner style (which is the default style).
Problems Logging In
If you enter the wrong email / password combination then an error message will be displayed. After five unsuccessful
attempts your account will be locked for 10 minutes. If your account becomes locked you can wait 10 minutes and try again,
or you can reset your password and try again.
If you're sure you have entered the correct login details but your login is not working then this will be because
your account is not enabled / you haven't received your confirmation email. You need to click on the link
in the confirmation email we send you to activate your account.
If you think you haven't received a confirmation email, check your email clients junk email folder, the message may have been classed as spam.
It's also possible that you've mistyped your email address when creating your account, in which case the email will be undeliverable.

Resetting Your Password
If you have forgotten your password then you can have a new one emailed to you. You can access the reset password page via links on the login forms.
Cancelling an Ad
There is no facility to cancel or change an ad via this website. If you wish to cancel or change your ad, please phone or email our call centre.
Closing Your Account
Although it's not necessary to close an account, you can request to have your account disabled. Please contact our call centre to request this.
